Description
This is a very special saree that has delicate running stitch embroidery using a single thread done by hand to lift and enhance the printed design. This pure Tussar silk handwoven saree is hand-dyed and discharge printed at our studio workshop. The combination of hand dyeing, block-printing, and embroidery results is a beautiful printed and embroidered saree. One of its kind. The hand block printing using the discharge technique gives the print a Shibori effect. The process requires multiple stages of dyeing, steaming, printing, and over-dyeing. Every Bodhi saree has Mala’s signature and a pure silver Bodhi seal. The color and fabric for the fall has been carefully chosen by us and is hand-stitched onto the saree. The edge of the Palla has been delicately hand folded and stitched in the traditional applique style. The blouse piece is charcoal black with blue-grey discharge printed and embroidered borders.

Care
Dry Clean or hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, do not soak for long, squeeze gently and dry in shade. Do not use bleach or other harsh chemicals. Iron with a medium hot iron.
